1. Who can help?
The Research Development Office (RDO) helps researchers secure funding with programs such as:
- Grantsmanship workshops
- Pivot-RP, an online funding database with both internal and extern opportunities
Staff in the Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) are available for one-on-one consultations to answer questions about specific proposals.
Colleges and departments also have dedicated research administrators who assist with proposal development, budget preparation, routing, and related activities.
Find your departmental or collegiate pre-award research administrator.
2. How can I learn more about grant-related training opportunities?
- Read the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) monthly newsletter
- Contact the RDO
- Subscribe to DSP’s Research Administration Dispatch (RAD) for news about sponsors, policy updates, compliance issues, training, and more
See Section 3c: Preparing, Routing, and Submitting a Proposal to learn more about the resources available.
